Alex Koh is Asia Pacific Treasurer for WPP plc, the world's largest marketing communications group. He is based in Australia and has worked in China,
Hong Kong, Malaysia and the UK. He was previously based in Shanghai as CFO for Treasury Holdings China, an Irish property group, and in Hong Kong as Director of Finance for McKinsey Asia. In Kuala Lumpur he was Group Treasurer of Sime Darby, the largest locally diversified conglomerate in Malaysia. He has also worked in London with KPMG and UBS.
Carrie LEEGroup Treasurer, Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd. (OOCL)
Carrie LEE is the Group Treasurer of OOCL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Orient Overseas (International) Limited (OOIL). Carrie’s primary role is to oversee the corporate finance function and daily treasury operation within the Group including cash management, foreign exchange and interest rates risk management.
Carrie joined OOCL in 2009 and has over twenty years of extensive corporate treasury and banking experience in management roles from multinational and Asian regional companies including Titan Petrochemicals Group Limited, Noble Group Limited, Hang Lung Group Limited, Citigroup and Royal Bank of Canada.
Having worked in Canada, Hong Kong, Switzerland and Singapore with global exposure, Carrie is conversant with corporate finance, debt capital market, syndication, structured finance, credit risk management, banking operations and all aspects of corporate treasury functions, including liquidity and cash management plus financial risk management in currency, interest rate and commodity.
In addition to being an experienced treasurer and banker, Carrie started her career as a professional engineer specializing in operations research and optimization in the oil & gas industry with Suncor Energy Inc in Canada. Carrie holds a MBA degree from York University and a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Toronto, Canada.
Damian GLENDINNINGTreasurer, Lenovo & President ACT(S)
After 21 years with IBM, Mr. Glendinning joined Lenovo in 2005 as Group Treasurer, following the acquisition of IBM’s personal computer business. He had spent four years as IBM’s Asia/Pacific treasurer, in Singapore, and was their Director of Global Treasury Operations in New York. Mr. Glendinning is a fellow of the ACCA, and has a degree in French and Italian from Oxford University. He has been president of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (Singapore) since June 2010 – a position he also held from 1999 to 2003.
David BLAIRManaging Director, Acarate Consulting
25 years of management and treasury experience in global companies David Blair was formerly vice-president treasury at Huawei where he drove a treasury transformation for this fast-growing Chinese infocomm equipment supplier. Before that David was group treasurer of Nokia, where he built one of the most respected treasury organisations in the world. He has previous experience with ABB, PriceWaterhouse, and Cargill.
David has extensive experience managing global and diverse treasury teams, as well as playing a leading role in e-commerce standard development and in professional associations. At Acarate Consulting he specialises in treasury and financial advice to corporates, banks and governments.
He trains treasury teams around the world and serves as a preferred tutor to the EuroFinance treasury and risk management training curriculum.
Francis HODirector, Group Treasury, CLP Holdings Limited
Francis Ho is responsible for CLP Group Treasury including funding, financial risks management, credit ratings, debt investors and bank relationships and compliance of treasury activities.
Prior to the assignment at Group Treasury, Francis was a project financier at CLP Power Asia, specializing in project finance, investment appraisal and financial risks management for CLP’s overseas investments in China, Australia, India, and South East Asia. Francis held various management positions in investment banking before he joined CLP.
Francis is the Convenor of the Hong Kong Association of Corporate Treasurers and a founding member and the Chairman (Membership) of the International Association of CFOs and Corporate Treasurers (China). Their objectives are to promote the treasury and finance profession in China and Hong Kong.
Jeanette CHANGTreasurer, IBM Asia Pacific
Jeanette has more than 12 years experience in corporate treasury and cash management in Asia Pacific. She commenced her career with Deloitte & Touche
in London and Singapore before joining IBM Singapore. Now as the Asia Pacific treasurer for IBM, her current job responsibilities include treasury operations,
pensions and asset management covering all Asia Pacific countries including Japan; Balance Sheet planning management covering the entire growth market
(Asia Pacific, Latin America, Central Europe, Middle East and Africa). Fluent in English and Mandarin, she has a B. Accountancy (First Class Honours)
from Nanyang Technological University and is a Chartered Accountant, ICAEW
KO Yung Lai GogoDeputy General Manager, Finance Department, YUE XIU Enterprises (Holdings) Ltd & President, IACCT (China)
Gogo is responsible for overseeing the YUEXIU Group’s financial management functions. The Group is one of the largest state-owned enterprises, in terms of assets, in Guangzhou, representing the controlling company of four listed entities in Hong Kong including a local
bank and a REIT. Prior to that she was the CFO of the YUEXIU REIT Asset Management, the licensed asset manager of YUEXIU Real Estate Investment Trust. In her 19 years with the YUEXIU Group she had dealt with different businesses including corporate finance, IPOs, securities, very substantial acquisitions, real estate investment trust and corporate restructuring. Prior to that Gogo worked for Arthur Andersen & Co in Hong Kong and Sydney. She graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is a qualified fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMA), Hong Kong Securities Institute (HKSI).
She is the Chairlady of the CIMA Hong Kong Branch, a Committee Member of the CIMA North Asia Regional Board, the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association Finance and Accounting Steering Committee, HKICPA Mainland China Business Interest Group, as well as a Volunteer Financial Advisor of the Hong Kong Volunteers Federation Company Limited.
She is the Director and Deputy Secretarial General of the Hong Kong Business Accountants Association (HKBAA) and is the Convenor of the Professional Development Committee of HKBAA.
Nuraini ISMAILVice President, Treasury, PETRONAS
Nuraini joined PETRONAS in 1992 and is currently the Vice-President of Treasury, PETRONAS. Prior to assuming this role, she has held various senior positions in PETRONAS Group including Senior General Manager, Group Treasury of PETRONAS, General Manager, Finance & Accounts Services and General Manager, Commercial Services of Malaysian International Trading Corporation Sdn. Bhd.
Her working experience includes treasury, audit, tax, corporate finance, corporate planning, methods and systems, financial and management accounting, group budget, group consolidation, trade finance, credit control, loans rehabilitation, financial analyst, bank operations, logistics and operations.
Prior to PETRONAS, she had served in various organizations including Bank of Bumiputra Malaysia Berhad, Bumiputra Merchant Bankers and Maybank Finance Berhad. She is a Fellow member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) United Kingdom.
She is also a Board member and/or committee member of several companies within the PETRONAS Group.
Stephen HOGANVice President Regional Treasury Asia Pacific, Deutsche Post DHL
Stephen has been based in Singapore for the past 12 years, where he established the Deutsche Post DHL Regional Treasury Centre (RTC) supporting over 140 legal entities in 41 countries across the region. His main responsibilities encompass cash and liquidity management, FX and Commodity risk management, banking relationships and Corporate Finance. Stephen joined DPDHL in 1997 and has also held various Finance and Treasury roles at Country, and Global level in London and Brussels. Prior to this he also worked in Finance and Tax roles in the UK Health Sector and UK Civil Service.
